Manning Wardle No. 3 "Sharpthorn" 0-6-0ST
Built in 1877 as Manning Wardle No. 641, 'Sharpthorn' is one of the many K Class locomotives built for private contractors between the 1860s and 1880s.
Sharpthorn itself was used to help build the Lewes to East Grinstead Railway, which we know today as the Bluebell Railway. It has been preserved there since 1983, but last steamed way back in 1958. It has not run in preservation.
This model, on the other hand, has run, and while it lacks any additional features, will be a great addition to your Victorian-/Edwardian-era industrial routes.
